Discussion Question Rules of Conduct

The following are "Rules of Conduct" for posting responses to discussion questions. These rules are enforced to ensure that everyone has the best possible learning experience. Determination of a "violation" of the rules below will be at the sole discretion of the proU.net staff. These rules may be changed, without notice at any time.

1. Keep It Clean and Courteous

Hostile posts directed at other student's, the school of record, or proU.net staff are prohibited. Unacceptable language includes: profanity, references to profanity, words that make reference to race, religion, or sex. Please do not engage in name calling or otherwise degrade another student's postings.

2. No Advertising or Spam

Discussion questions are designed to promote learning by allowing students to view other student's responses. It's not designed to be a free advertising page. Do not post spam, advertise, or offer to sell or buy any goods or services for any business purpose within a discussion question response.

3. No Recruiting

Discussion questions are not designed as a recruiting platform. Do not post Company names with the intent of recruiting.

4. No "Test" Posts

Do not create "Test" posts (i.e., posting blank or "dummy" posts to see how the discussion question system works).

5. Personal Information

Do not post to have a personal discussion with other individuals. This includes postings such as "HI JOE" or "EMAIL ME" typed in a discussion question postings.

6. Penalties for Violating These Rules of Conduct

Students may be disenrolled for failing to follow these rules. Disenrollment is at the desecration of your school.
